As the Trump Administration continues to push the bounds of legality, state, local and private parties are using the courts to fight back. The Program will address the recent Supreme Court case gutting the Voting Rights act which protects racial minorities (Louisiana vs. Callais) Bob Jaffe and Rob Katz are offering this presentation about the legal resistance currently undersay – tackling such issues as election interference, weaponization of the National Guard and prosecution of federal officers for state law crimes. Bob and Rob will also examine the constitutional and international law violations concerning the Administration’s war(s) especially the Iran war. Plenty of time for questions.
