Sacred Sparks – Fifty Years of the Aquarian Minyan
A new video documentary about The Aquarian Minyan is now in production!
Producer/director Daniel Tov Howard says that the documentary will be “a compelling look inside the first and oldest Jewish Renewal community, captured through the eyes of its members. Weaving together personal stories with footage of the community at prayer and play, retreats and celebrations, we present fifty years of the journey of a singular spiritual community. The creative contributions of the Minyan to the world-wide Jewish Renewal movement and beyond will be explored, including innovative approaches to prayer, ritual, and liturgy. The pioneering spirit of the Minyan continues to contribute to a more loving and just world today.”
Co-producer of the project is Lynn Feinerman, along with the Minyan Documentary Project Advisory Committee members Barry Barkan, Miriam Stampfer, R Jonathan Seidel, Bob Jaffe, Robert Stang, and Ami Goodman.
